Decided we wanted Thai tonight and did not want to go to the usual place we almost always go to for Pad Thai.
Small restaurant in a small strip mall on Cinco Ranch Boulevard.
Very clean and organized. We were greeted by a young man who turned out to be our server. He was very friendly and polite. Very helpful too.
We decided to get the green papaya salad. A spicy dish with green papaya shredded with carrots, peanuts, daikon, tomatoes and spices. All of the ingredients finely sliced. It was delicious. $9.95 for a large enough portion for 2 people to share.
Although the menu was extensive with Thai dishes and Sushi we opted to try their version of Pad Thai. My wife ordered the chicken in a non spicy version. Her dish was $11.99. She loved it. Another huge portion. She loved how fresh all of the ingredients seemed to be.
I had the shrimp Pad Thai $13.99. I ordered it by their heat scale of 2 out of three peppers. It was spicy but not overly spicy. Mine too tasted very fresh. It had 8 large grilled shrimp. Just wish they had taken the tails off before cooking or serving the dish.
My wife had jasmine hot tea with her meal. $2.50.
I had the iced Thai tea. $3.25. I have never had this particular drink before and probably will not ever have it again. It was way too sweet for my taste, plus had a kind of clove finish that I did not care for either. Just not my cup of tea I guess.
Overall we had a very nice dining experience and will certainly return when the mood for Thai food strikes us again. Happy we found this place so close to home. -

Love their pad Kee mao and Tom yum soup! Staff is friendly as well. We usually come on Sundays and it's not too crowded. They have plenty of tvs with sports to watch on them. I want to try more things on the menu because everything I've tried is yummy.

Don't let the strip center vibe fool you... I almost made that same mistake. Quality of the food here is top notch. Try their Panang Curry with pork. (goes without saying, but avoid the sushi... this isn't a Japanese restaurant after all)

The restaurant is nicely decorated with ample seating. Not sure why I've never tried this place until now. We ordered the fish cakes which were quite tasty. Even my 8 year old daughter liked it. We also had pad thai medium spicy. The pad thai was dry just the way I like it but it was mild not spicy. No matter, I just asked for the chili powder which is pretty spicy. We also had the red curry with chicken which has a very nice flavor. My daughter had the shrimp fried rice which was so good! Everything tasted good and fresh and we will definitely be back.
Water snob rating: 4/5
Fish cakes: 5/5
